From the city centre to the centre of innovation

We have moved the Brno campus of NEWTON University and Vysoká škola STING. From the new academic year 2025/2026 you will find us in the Machova Building in the Technology Park. At first glance, it may seem like just a change of address, but in reality it reflects the direction we are heading as a business school.

From the city centre to the centre of innovation

Why we took a new path

When we first started in Brno, it made perfect sense to be located right in the city centre. Close to students, coffee on every corner and everything within easy reach. Over time, however, we realised that if we wanted to keep growing, we needed more than just a central address. We needed an environment that reflects what we want to pass on to our students – inspiration, connections, modern management education and the chance to be part of something bigger.

Modern facilities for teaching and events

The Machova Building offers us a spacious auditorium suitable for hosting events for hundreds of people. Students can now experience conferences and lectures in an environment that meets professional standards. The premises are modern, bright and in line with our vision of a university that prepares students for the real business world.

Studying is not just about hours in the classroom. It is also about facilities that allow you to focus on what truly matters. Next door you will find a large fitness centre, nearby there is a canteen and plenty of restaurants, and on-site parking is also available. An environment that supports a healthy balance between performance, regeneration and personal growth.

The heart of the student zone

The Technology Park is part of the Brno University of Technology campus, and therefore the heart of student life in Brno. Our students will be surrounded by peers from different fields, in an environment that fosters collaboration and mutual inspiration. Whether it’s about studying, networking or social life, everything is literally just around the corner.

Our aim is to provide education that is not confined within four walls, but brimming with energy. We believe that right here, in the Technology Park, our students will find both the inspiration and motivation to grow.

Moving is not just a change of address. It is an opportunity to begin a new chapter. With the new academic year, we look forward to welcoming students, colleagues and partners to our new premises. Education is about people – and we believe it is in this environment that the most valuable encounters and ideas will be born.

Better Mind, Better Brno – a new dimension of leadership

The second edition of Better Mind in Brno confirmed that mental wellbeing is becoming one of the key themes in modern education and leadership. This year’s event offered practical techniques, inspiration, and honest reflections on what it means to handle pressure, seek balance, and lead in a world where our mind is our most important tool. The article is based on conversations with the organisers, Ondřej Nádvorník and Sandra Keyzlarová.

I came to NEWTON University thanks to what is now, quite literally, family. We’re very much a NEWTON Family in every sense of the word. My husband studied here, his sister and her husband did as well, and she even worked at NU. Their experience — and especially the fact that NEWTON is completely different from traditional universities in its approach, atmosphere and focus on practical learning — convinced me it was the right choice.

Not Just Bouncing Back: Connecting Systemic and Individual Resilience in a Changing World

This spring, I had the opportunity to speak at the Smart Zero City 2025 conference in Taiwan, organised by Yuan Ze University and chaired by Professor Miko Yu — a gathering of experts, innovators, and city leaders exploring how to future-proof urban life. We heard about digital infrastructure, green energy, and smart transport systems.
