Also among the finalists is Matěj Svoboda, a high-school student and NEW Gen Academy speaker, who combines education, science, and volunteering to inspire other young people to make a positive impact.
The award ceremony will take place on 11 November 2025 at the Studio Hrdinů in Prague’s Veletržní Palace and will be broadcast live on Czech Television’s iVysílání platform.
The Jan Opletal Awards are organised by the Student Chamber of the Council of Higher Education Institutions in cooperation with the Thanks That You Can (Díky, že můžem) association.
