He started at fifteen with a camera in his hand and a vision that the world has no limits. Today, he has collaborated with giants such as Microsoft and Allwyn and is behind the ambitious project Mindfall Protocol – the first Czech mid-length AI film. In this interview, NEWTON University graduate Gedeon Drapák shares his journey from the streets of Prague through London startups to the technologies reshaping the rules of the game. Why does he believe the future belongs to “vibe marketing,” and how did his studies help him realize that success is not only about skills, but also about connections and the courage to fail?

Barbora Nováková, a third-year student at the Brno campus of NEWTON University, shows that elite sport and higher education don’t have to compete with each other. The alpine skier secured her place at the upcoming Winter Olympic Games at the very last moment. Yet between training runs at speeds of up to 130 km/h, she still finds time to work on her bachelor’s thesis and think about her future in business.

I came to NEWTON University thanks to what is now, quite literally, family. We’re very much a NEWTON Family in every sense of the word. My husband studied here, his sister and her husband did as well, and she even worked at NU. Their experience — and especially the fact that NEWTON is completely different from traditional universities in its approach, atmosphere and focus on practical learning — convinced me it was the right choice.

Two young Czechs, Lukáš Novák and Ondřej Vošmera, made their mark at the European Greatness Challenge within ADC*E thanks to their creativity and courage. Supported by NEWTON University, they impressed with their video and brought home an award from Barcelona.
