An innovation that transformed the market yesterday may be obsolete tomorrow. NEWTON University is therefore establishing a Centre of Excellence for Competitiveness Management, bringing together academics, senior managers, investors and talented students from its Business Leadership programme.

British education publication FE News has featured the new Centre of Excellence for Competitiveness Management being established at NEWTON University. Its purpose is to help leaders identify, create and sustain their organisations’ strategic advantage.

The Centre will focus on analysing global and local trends, turning innovative ideas into profitable products and strengthening organisational resilience to external shocks. It will also provide a trusted environment for leaders to exchange experience, transfer research insights into practice and develop innovation by connecting data, strategy and execution.

According to Anna Plechatá Krausová, Chancellor of NEWTON University, it is no longer enough for companies simply to outperform their competitors. They must manage their competitive advantage systematically, anticipate market developments and build ecosystems that support sustainable growth. The Centre is therefore intended to be far more than another study module. It will connect academic theory and research with the experience of students and business professionals.
