Entrance exams don’t suit everyone

You may be perfectly prepared, but a little nervousness is enough for an entrance exam — which was supposed to be just a formality — to end unsuccessfully. Due to a temporary setback, you can lose the opportunity to study at a university. At least for a year.

Entrance exams differ from one university to another. Some require aptitude tests, others check knowledge in a specific field.

Your success may therefore depend on your ability to prepare for a particular type of question, or on memorising a list of technical terms. And that simply may not suit everyone.

However, this failure does not reflect your ability to study at university. It just didn’t work out this time.
