What Can Make Your University Studies Easier?

Every student has different circumstances when it comes to studying. Some have as much time as they need, while others have to juggle taking their children to various activities and caring for their parents. That is why, at Sting, we create study conditions that allow you to study with greater peace of mind and combine your studies more easily with your family and professional commitments.
In this article, we share tried-and-tested tips on how to manage your studies effectively while saving time for other activities.
Attend lectures and study regularly
September may feel like the beginning of a long semester, but before you know it, Christmas will be here – and with it, the exam period. Those three months always pass quickly, and suddenly you find yourself preparing for exams with a mountain of material to cover.
If you want to avoid this situation, we recommend attending lectures and studying regularly from the very beginning.
Why attend lectures when you have course materials?
Simply because you do not have to rely only on your course materials.
During lectures, we guide you through the subject matter in a more accessible way, share practical experience, and answer your questions. If you stay focused and take notes, you can save a significant amount of time when preparing for your exams.
Why study throughout the semester?
Because it is much easier to find 30 minutes to review your notes (even several times during the semester) than trying to learn everything from an entire semester in one weekend.
We are not saying it is impossible – it is just much more demanding, and you are also more likely to forget what you have learned. Maybe you will remember everything, but why take the risk?
Ongoing exam period
Regular preparation offers another advantage for our part-time students. Once all teaching sessions for a particular subject are completed, they can take the exam straight away. They do not have to wait for early exam dates in December, as is often the case at other universities.
This means they not only remember more of the subject matter but, more importantly, can spread the workload over several weeks instead of facing everything at once during the exam period. When combined with family and professional responsibilities, this flexibility is invaluable.
Do you like this approach to studying?
If you are not yet studying with us but would like your studies to fit better around your schedule, apply to Sting and you could join us as early as next semester.
We look forward to welcoming you!
