Twenty five leading figures from Czech management have reached the final of the 33rd Manager of the Year awards. They were selected by a sixteen member expert jury which included Jiří Koleňák, CEO of NEWTON University Group.
This year’s finalists represent private companies, technology, healthcare, culture and public administration. The jury considered more than financial performance, assessing candidates’ strategic thinking, leadership, approach to innovation and wider contribution to society.
Jiří Koleňák joined the sixteen member judging panel as CEO of NEWTON University Group, Academic Guarantor of management education and an expert in leadership, crisis management and personal development. He also knows the competition from a candidate’s perspective, having won the Small and Medium Sized Enterprise Manager category in 2021.
His role on the jury reflects NEWTON’s close connection with Czech business and management practice. His experience of leading organisations and educating future leaders brings together commercial results, long term vision and the ability to develop people.
The winners will be announced on 6 October 2026 in the Rotunda Hall at the Brno Exhibition Centre, as part of the International Engineering Fair gala evening.
