NEWTON University alumna Hana Rocskárová shows how fast a career in HR can grow

Starting a career today is no longer about waiting for the “right moment”, but about how quickly we can turn education into real-world practice. Hana Rocskárová, a graduate of NEWTON University, is an example of a focused and fast professional growth in the field of HR.

Already during her studies in psychology for managers, she knew she wanted to connect psychology with people management. She therefore entered practice alongside her studies and gradually gained hands-on experience in the field. It was precisely the combination of theory and real practice that enabled her to reach the position of Head of HR in the Purple group within four years.

Hana herself admits that the biggest challenge was not professional knowledge, but balancing work and personal life. At the same time, she emphasizes that this experience was what moved her forward the most and taught her to manage time and responsibility effectively.

Alongside her story, the article also presents other graduates from different universities who demonstrate distinct but similarly dynamic career paths. Investment specialist Jakub Marcolla from Wood & Company built his career in finance from an early age and during his student years. Karolína Věncková found her path in insurance at ČPP thanks to her openness to a new field. Martin Beňo, after a more difficult start, succeeded in recruitment at M2C, and Jakub Valníček moved through international studies and internships into product management at Portu.

The common denominator of all these stories is the willingness to learn quickly, try new roles, and actively seek experience. It shows that today’s career start is not based on a single perfect choice, but on the ability to grow in motion.
